Primary Packaging Preparation: Tyvek Blister Packs
RKT specializes in providing primary packaging that meets the special requirements of medical products. In one example, cartridges for an innovative cancer immunotherapy system are placed in plastic packaging, then blister-packed in Tyvek film. Tyvek provides impermeability to contamination yet permeability to sterilizing gases. After sterilization, the product is delivered to the client for assembly of reagents or pipettes into a kit, which is then packaged in secondary packaging.
