RKT manages every phase of medical plastic component injection molding production, from initial product design to assembling complete modules and delivering the final product. Our capabilities span the entire value chain, catering to both small and large volume projects. We offer state-of-the-art, fully automated processes for high-volume production, while also providing semi-automated solutions for small and medium quantities, with the ability to be transitioned to fully automated lines as project volumes increase.

Production Process Design

Starting with product design, we meticulously plan the entire production process based on our Design for Manufacturing (DfM) framework. Our process development team focuses on optimizing the injection molding process for plastic parts and designing efficient production workflows for subsequent stages like filling, assembly, and packaging. These processes typically occur in our ISO class 7 or class 8 cleanrooms. We carefully manage the flow of goods throughout production, per raw materials, semi-finished, and finished product requirements. Logistics, including maintaining temperature-controlled chains for finished products, is also carefully planned and managed. Our quality department plays a crucial role in every project, providing guidance to clients and our internal team throughout the entire production cycle.

Flexible, Scalable Solutions

From assembling straightforward products like insulin pens to executing intricate filling processes with robotics, such as adding fragile freeze-dried reagents with hygroscopic properties, each station of our production lines is meticulously designed for efficiency and scalability. We develop and design semi-automated lines to be able to be swiftly and seamlessly transitioned to fully automated processes as demand increases.
